In line with the main aims of "Sociologica", Meeting the author wants to establish a closer link between readership and authors, supporting the scholarly debate at both international and national (Italian) level with new technologies.

Lasting from late June 2007 to early April 2008, meeting the author foresees three (3) online seminars of 2 hours each with one of the leading authors for each published issue. During this period the participants will be able to ask questions, make comments and discuss the specific essay published in the Journal with the author(s). It is an important opportunity to engage in an international scientific exchange on theoretical and empirical work in the making.
