Thea D. Boldt
Thea D. Boldt is a Sociologist of Culture. She studied Cultural Sciences at the Institute of Audiovisual Arts at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and held her PhD title in Sociology from the Georg-August-University Göttingen. This was followed by an academic career as a Research Fellow and Scientific Project Coordinator at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities at the University Duisburg/Essen and as an Affiliated Professor for Qualitative Methodologies at the University of Kassel. She is currently working as a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities in Essen on her habilitation project about “Silence as a Form of Knowledge.”
