Mariana Canavese
Mariana Canavese holds a PhD in History from the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales de París. She is a researcher with the Argentine National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CeDInCI/UNSAM, CONICET), and teaches in the History degree program at UBA. She graduated with a History degree from UBA, and specialized in Culture and Society studies at the Instituto de Altos Estudios Sociales (IDAES/UNSAM). She has participated in a number of projects and research fellowships in her home country and abroad. She has published articles in national and international academic journals, as well as book chapters, in relation to problems surrounding Argentine and Latin American intellectual history. She is the author of Usos de Foucault en la Argentina. Recepción y Circulación desde los Años Cincuenta hasta Nuestros Sías [Siglo XXI, 2015].
