Michael Eve teaches sociology at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Alessandria, Italy). His interests include social networks and the importance of interprersonal relations in structuring social action and social inequality. He is currently engaged in research on the incorporation of children of immigrants into the class structure of Italy.
