La sfera pubblica e il concetto di mandante immaginario
Abstract
Democratic regimes inherited from Nineteenth
century liberalism traits that were included with much difficulties in the new
democratic State. Neither the traditional theory of representation, nor the new
economic theory of democracy seem capable of making sense of the several
contradiction present in the working of the institution of the democratic State and
in the ideology meant to justifying their activity. On the other, side public sphere
is becoming the most relevant institution and the imaginary mandate governing the
agent operating in it are the most interesting phenomenon of the current scene.
